We don't do cookie-cutter - each one's got its own story, quirks, and lessons learned. Some were smooth sailing, others... well, let's just say we earned our grey hairs on those ones.

West Coast Mountain Residence

Built this beauty in Whistler for a family who wanted mountain views without sacrificing comfort. Triple-glazed everything, radiant heating, and that cantilevered deck? Yeah, that took some engineering gymnastics.

Downtown Tech Hub

Six floors of collaborative workspace in Gastown. The client wanted 'industrial meets nature' - we delivered exposed beams, living walls, and enough natural light to make folks forget they're in an office.

Commercial 2023

Riverside Community Plaza

Turned an abandoned lot near False Creek into actual usable public space. Got the community involved from day one - their input shaped everything from bench placement to the food truck zones.

Urban Planning 2024

Net-Zero Laneway House

Squeezed 850 sq ft of seriously efficient living into a Kitsilano laneway. Solar panels, heat recovery ventilation, and insulation that'd make an igloo jealous. Client's energy bills? Basically pocket change now.

Residential Sustainable 2023

Granville Street Heritage Conversion

1912 warehouse that was falling apart - we saved what mattered and upgraded what didn't. Now it's mixed-use with retail below and lofts above. Those original Douglas fir beams? Still doing their job after 100+ years.

Heritage Commercial 2022

Yaletown Farm-to-Table Restaurant

Designed this spot for a chef who's obsessed with local ingredients. Open kitchen, reclaimed wood everywhere, and acoustics that actually let people hear their dinner conversations - harder than you'd think in a restaurant.

Tofino Coastal Retreat

Beach house that can handle whatever the Pacific throws at it. Salt-resistant materials, storm shutters that don't look ugly, and floor-to-ceiling windows where you want 'em. Client surfs before breakfast now - goals.

Residential 2023

Main Street Revitalization

Helped reimagine three blocks of Main Street. More trees, better lighting, bike lanes that make sense, and seating that people actually use. Took forever with city council but worth the hassle.

Urban Planning 2024

Robson Street Flagship Store

Retail space for a local outdoor gear brand. They wanted something that felt like the wilderness without being cheesy - think natural materials, strategic lighting, and a layout that flows like a good hiking trail.

Commercial Interior 2023

East Van Duplex

Side-by-side duplex that doesn't look like a duplex. Two families, shared courtyard, totally separate living spaces. Both units hit passive house standards - because why not do it right from the start?

Residential Sustainable 2024

Mount Pleasant Church Conversion

Former church from 1928 that became a community arts center. Kept the stained glass, preserved the vaulted ceilings, added modern amenities that don't scream 'renovation'. Acoustics are killer for concerts.

Heritage Community 2022

Olympic Village Coworking Hub

Coworking space that's not just rows of desks. Mix of private offices, phone booths, lounge areas, and a decent coffee bar. Built-in flexibility so they can reconfigure as needs change - which they always do.
